Youtube for Young Generation?

Youtube is an online based video sharing platform. It was originally founded in 2005 by former PayPal employees. It was acquired by Google in 2006. Youtube allow us to upload and watch video as much as we like. It also allow us to share and interact to other users that also use youtube. Youtube create huge impacts to us as the user.

Youtube growth is very large, with more than 400 hours worth of videos are being uploaded every minutes. Youtube has a great potential to change our young generation character. Based on the research conducted by Stage of Life, 63.5% of teenagers watching youtube daily, and 91.4% of teens feel that, overall, YouTube is a "positive" part of our society. From the statement above, we can infer that youtube is an important part of teenager that can influence them mentally.

On the positive side, youtube can be a employment opportunities for a lot of teenager. They can share their hobby, do what they like to do, share it to lots of people, and they can be paid for doing that. Youtube can also be the media for all the teenagers to express themselves. Teenagers can get many useful information from Youtube, any many more benefits.

Youtube also have their own negative impacts. One of them is distract many students from doing their task, distracting their schedule, etc. Teenager can also access pornography via youtube. They are fragile to follow a bad trend that are trending on youtube. Youtube can give a lot of bad example for our young generation

Anything, include youtube must’ve benefits and drawbacks. As a young generation that will lead our country later in the future, we have to be selective of what videos are we watching. The good or bad youtube will impacts us, depends on how we use it. If we use it wisely, we can get many benefits from youtube. If not, we can be trapped to its bad infuences.

EDU PASSION 2018 A few months ago, my school held an event called Edu Passion. Specifically on Thursday, 15 February 2019. In this event, there were a lot of university that came to SMAN 3. The main purpose of this event is to give the student information about university. And also to help the student decide their university and department for college later. In this event, there were a lot of universities stand, food stand, and also presentation on 12th grade class.
